Construction commenced in 2018, initially featuring just two charming casitas and a refreshing pool. Since then, the property has undergone significant development, marking a deliberate and meticulous journey characterized by thoughtful design integration into the existing architectural canvas. Culture
Chelem is a sleepy fishing village on a barrier island at the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. It is a unique and intimate experience, unlike the large cities (CDMX, Monterrey, etc.) and resort towns (Cancun, Cabo, etc.). In Yucatan, the culture is Mayan centric; the Mayan culture is unique and demonstrated daily through cuisine, clothing, language and lifestyle. The experience here in Chelem is unlike any other - 💎 it is a hidden gem!

Our retreat is only 4 sandy beach roads from the beautiful ocean (Gulf of Mexico), with soft waves and perfect water temperatures.
💧With early notice, we can possibly make our oceanfront apartment available for the convenience of a covered oceanfront terrace, dining, relaxation and facilities - all oceanfront with direct access onto the sandy beach!
🌊Chelem (and the surrounding beaches) boast boating, paddleboarding, quad/ATV rentals, jet ski rentals, pig beach, and more.

Products and services in Chelem cost a fraction of what they do in other beach towns, even compared to close resort towns such as Cancun, Tulum, Cabo, etc. We pass this savings to you!
